Safety Precautions for Operating an Automatic Slitting Machine

When using an automatic slitting machine, it is important to follow certain safety precautions to avoid accidents. Here are some safety precautions for operating an automatic slitting machine:

Machine startup: Before turning on the machine, check if all parts of the slitting machine are in proper working condition. Verify the stability of voltage and current, check the main hydraulic drive system for any abnormal smells or pressure display issues, and open the pneumatic shut-off valve while ensuring the air pressure is normal and stable. Only proceed with machine startup if everything is in order.

Control settings: Set the cutting menu based on the thickness, length, and width of the material to be cut. Adjust the cutting length and width parameters in the PDF document. Select the appropriate winding option and adjust the pressure arms and rollers. Install the correct size of core for the material.

Material loading, film threading, and splicing: When cutting film materials, follow the cutting requirements and place the film on the slitting frame, securely clamping it using the control buttons. If there is no film on the slitting machine, thread the film by attaching one end to the film threading chain loop and activating the film threading function. When replacing the film roll, flatten the upper section of the film on the leading traction roller, use a vacuum pump to adhere the film flatly to the splicing table, apply double-sided tape, trim the excess film, flatten the film on the unwind stand, vacuum pump it to adhere, remove the tape, and smoothly bond the film to the paper layer. Finally, turn off the vacuum pump and retract the splicing table.

Once everything is prepared, the machine can be started and material cutting can commence.

During the cutting process, carefully observe the machine's operation. If necessary, adjust the speed, tension, and contact pressure of the slitting machine.
